I love point and click puzzle adventure games. Started with Myst long ago, played them all and many others since. This one just became too confusing. The logic connection between puzzles was more luck than logic and turned into frustration. When I resorted to the walkthrough a few times and concluded I would have never found that step on my own and no idea how the walkthrough writer found it other than by accident, I gave up. I've played many games, still do, so not a novice at taking hours to figure something out, if the logic is there.. It will not launch!. Plausible ending to the series albeit short considering the journey to get here.Was good to here from my old friend Atrus.Personally I've always felt the whole D'nai mmorpg debacle was a disservice to the real Myst fans so this will have to suffice as the end of an era.Somewhat of a shame as it could have been Epic.Overall the game is playable and enjoyable, only had 1 glitch.. This is really one of the best adventure games of all time!. Meh, doesn't really do justice to the rest of the series. The new movement system had way lower graphical capabilites at the time than the old pre-rendered graphics and the storyline got butchered.. I'd put this on the good side of okay. It's far from the best Myst game (but also not the worst, see Myst IV), and it's fairly short - I would have liked for the ages to be longer, particularly the super cool observatory age. The game also has a bit of a problem with the endings to the ages (and indeed to the game itself) being very anticlimactic, tending to lack any big overarching final puzzle to make the ending satisfying, like many better ages or better games have. There are also quite a lot of bugs, particularly relating to the weird core mechanic the game has. There are also one or two puzzles that are rather obtuse, relying on rather unexpected mechanics. And only one or two of the ages were especially memorable, sadly.All that said, the game as a whole was enjoyable, and it didn't manage to lose my attention at any point. There's nothing in particular that's bad about the game, it just fails to shine like it could have. I guess I would recommend this game if it's on sale and you badly want another Myst game?. I played the original Myst way way back in the day. Playing Riven after that but never finished it, with all of it's discs!This game really brought me back to the OG Myst.. It's a damn shame they only ever made four Myst games.. It's like Myst except they forgot to put puzzles in. Early-Access & Multiplayer: Hi Everyone! PUNK-EX will be planning to launch in Early-Access on November 2nd 2018. That's the current decision I am going for even though this might change. But right now, this is the direction for the Steam release. About Multiplayer PUNK-EX already has a PVP mode but it will take time to finalize it. Currently I am removing the 'Multiplayer' label on the game until it is 100% confirmed that the game has multiplayer mode.I am going to focus more on the Single-player aspect of the game before going into developing multiplayer.
